An invitation that opens like a letter
Wedding website for Beatriz and Jose: a wax-sealed envelope with their initials that opens with a tap, an arched card with a countdown, RSVP and the couple’s story told in seven chapters.

The challenge
Beatriz and Jose wanted an invitation they could send on WhatsApp that would feel like receiving a paper letter. It also had to handle the practical side: RSVP with plus-ones, children, allergies and accommodation, plus timings and directions to the church and the reception.
The process
We started from paper: a cream envelope, a gold wax seal with the initials JB and an arched card like printed invitations. The palette comes from the wedding’s burgundy and gold. For type we paired a calligraphic script for the names, Cormorant Garamond for the text and widely spaced Jost for the details. Everything is designed to be opened on a phone, from WhatsApp.
The solution
Tapping the seal opens the envelope and reveals the card with the date, the names, a note from the couple and the days left. Below it, the RSVP form. Once guests reply, the site unlocks the rest: the big date with a button to save it to the calendar, ceremony and reception with maps, four fun questions for the guests and “Our story” in seven illustrated chapters.
